Humor escapes me

I always think of these great rants when I'm on my way to work, and
then, suddenly, they vaporize as if they never existed. I swear to
God, between the hours of 7:30 and 7:55 am, EST, M-F, I am perhaps the
most creative, talented, and hilarious individual I have ever had the
pleasure to be. Then, I get to the post office, and there is
inevitably an awkward conversation with [man I have nothing in common
with] at the boxes. Then I go to work; And the spell is completely
broken, I have become the utterly uncreative person all of you are
much more familiar with. 

So you can thank the capitalist system that I'm not better at
entertaining you guys.
